Transformers 3

Time for the repeat (or should it be "threepeat") of crap. I'm tempted to not even review this that seriously. I mean, I expected a Michael Bay film about robots smashing things and this succeeded in being as bad a film as one might expect.

I'll be quick this time. The movie has the usual Michael Bay summer blockbuster schtick- explosions, people screaming, a beautiful woman (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley), horrendous one-liners, insane special effects that rape your eyeballs while the over-abundance of plotting rapes your soul, and like many action blockbusters this features a good cast that is very much wasted (Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Patrick Dempsey, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand, Alan Tudyk, Ken Jeong, and the voices of Hugo Weaving and Leonard Nimoy).

Michael Bay also manages to make the moon landing feel boring. Kudos to him.

And yes, the screenshot I'm using for this review is an actual screenshot from the movie. No joke.
